The year 2025 marks the inaugural Yang Family Foundation STEM Educator Awards, created in close collaboration with Fulton County Schools to honor excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.
On October 30, 2025, during the Fulton County Schools Legacy of Excellence Luncheon, seven outstanding STEM teachers were recognized for their exemplary contributions to student learning and innovation in the classroom. Each honoree received a $5,000 award - divided equally between personal use ($2,500) and school funding ($2,500), the latter designated for classroom initiatives or professional development.
